For the promotion and progression of Light Painting Art and Artist.
Well this is freaking amazing. Ascending Technologies is a “leading UAS developer & manufacturer of technology”, they also enjoy Light Painting. To showcase their flight planning software AscTec Navigator paired with their AscTec Falcon 8 UAV they created what has to be the best quality Light Painting Drone video that has been made to date. Check out the video below and for all the details check out their website HERE!
From time to time we come across a light painting and just stare it wondering how the F@#! did they do that?!?! Break Down is a series if which I only ask the artist one question “How the F@#! did you make this” its up to the artist to tell as little or as much as they want. I saw the above image “Light Bender” from Chris Bauer and my eyes fell out of my head. I asked Chris to do a Break Down of “Light Bender” and instead of using a bunch of silly words to explain himself Chris did us one better and made a video showing the tools and the process! Enjoy.
Make sure to check out Chris’s website for more mind bending images! http://www.thefloweroflight.com
The team of Studio-LightPainting and Julien Breton have been breaking new ground in the area of Live Light Painting! Together they are working on software and performance pieces that are some next level work. Right now the current set up takes a lot of expensive equipment to achieve however there are plans to create a more cost effective solution for the rest of us Light Painters. Check out these BTS images and the video below for a little taste of whats to come!
On November 19th during the opening of “Enlightenment” at the Galerie l’Ecu de France, Light Painting Photographer Konte RAST directed more than 300 people from all different backgrounds, to create a Light Painting that is a symbol of Peace and Tolerance, Konte says “The differences we enrich and must never oppose”. Love and light to all our friends around the world. Check out the video of the event below.
