DIY Light Painting Tool: Double Light Bike Wheel by Dana Maltby

In this DIY Light Painting Tool Tutorial you will learn how to wire and operate a light wheel with two different DIY lights: a simple LED string and a Cold Cathode. You can learn how to wire the Cold Cathode in the Cold Cathode Tutorial HERE.

🛠️ What You Will Need

  • Kids Bike Wheel (normal bike wheels are too big)
  • Battery Operated Holiday Strand Lights
  • Cold Cathode Light
  • Inverter Box (comes with cathode)
  • Positive and Negative Plug (for inverter box)
  • Battery Holder: 12V (8 AA or 1x 9V + 2x AA)
  • Connector for Battery Holder
  • Switch
  • Lots of Tape
