Here are the submissions for this months Light Painting Photography Contest! The theme of this Light Painting contest was to create spiral out of light, obviously there are very different interpretations of what a spiral can mean… The theme of this contest was based on the Spiral Light Painting Tutorial by Jason Rinehart.

Everyone PLEASE VOTE in the comment section of this page to pick your top 3 favorite images, ONLY VOTE ONE TIME. The images all have a number in the title (EXAMPLE… IF ONE OF YOUR FAVORITES IS THE IMAGE TITLED “Light Painting Contest February 2019 01″ THEN YOU SHOULD PUT THE NUMBER 01 AS ONE OF YOUR CHOICES). Light Painting Photographer Dee Light specializes in a form of light drawing known as Light Calligraphy. I had the pleasure of meeting and shooting with Dee about a year ago and to see him create is work in real life is something special. His movements are smooth and elegant and I was really impressed with his general spacial awareness and the way he moved his lights through the air. A New Light Painting Website thats all about connecting!

A new website created by Light Painting Artist Dan Chick and Gunnar Heilmann has just been released to the world! The website LightPainters.com is all about connecting Light Painting Artist with each other along with various other opportunities! One of my favorite features of the website is the interactive map showing where other artists are located, everywhere in the world! This is such a great feature for a traveling artist that is looking to collaborate away from home!
