Jason Rinehart has been creating his Light Painting artwork since 2008. He lives in the beautiful town of Buchanan, Virginia, nestled at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty around him, Jason not only captures innovative Light Painting creations but also photographs the awe-inspiring weather and scenery that surrounds his home.

In 2014, Jason made Light Painting history by organizing the “200 Orbs” event — a collaborative project that earned the first Guinness World Record for Light Painting, achieved alongside a dedicated group of fellow artists. This landmark event stands as a testament to his creativity, leadership, and love for the community.

Jason is a proud Light Painting Brushes Brand Ambassador and a pioneer of numerous techniques within the art form. He’s known for his generous spirit, always eager to help others learn and grow through Light Painting. His passion extends into his family life, as he often incorporates his daughters into his images — beautifully documenting their growth and connection through light.
