This is a really cool way to use refracted light to create light painting. Shooting between iso 100-400 using a wide open aperture and a shutter speed of 30 seconds photographer Stephen Oravec has created some beautiful works of art using Giant Dancing Bubbles. Dipping some cotton rope attached to two sticks into a bubble making solution (as seen below) Stephen has an assistant make the massive bubbles while he lights them with a single LED light or a 4 foot LED light bar. The refracted and reflected light then dances through the air as the camera captures the traces of light! Check out the images and video below, for even more images from the dancing bubbles series check out Stephen’s website HERE. Now go get your soap.

And we all are amazed by your work! The last shot is freaking. I’m still thinking. Art is made by chance. Congratulations! Really beautiful! Light for us all!
