The theme for the light painting photography contest beginning Jan 1st 2018 is Light Blading as in the style of Light Painting Pioneer Patrick Rochon! This style is all above the flow, the feel, the color, the texture, the design, and most important the freedom to create! This style can be called abstract light painting or as Patrick calls it Light Painting Kata’s! Below are a few examples of Patrick’s light painting Kata’s to get you started, if you need some tips and technique to create more color and texture click here for a great tutorial put together by another light blading pioneer Darren Hopkins!
