The theme for this months Light Painting Photography contest is to create a light painting using a plastic bottle as your light painting tool. Below is a tutorial from Jason Rinehart showing one way to use a plastic bottle as your light painting tool however your submission does not need to be created the same way. BUT you must use a plastic bottle as your light painting tool to create your image. Your submission can be an orb, something abstract, a portrait or anything light painted using a plastic bottle. You will also need to submit a picture of the plastic bottle that you used to create your image! Keep reading below for HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR IMAGE, YOU MUST FOLLOW ALL THE RULES FOR YOUR IMAGE TO BE ACCEPTED…
To submit your image you must please follow all these guidelines:
1. Follow the THEME of the contest, “Plastic Bottle as your Light Painting Tool”
2. Resize your images to 1200 pixels on the longest side and 72 dpi.
3. Include your NAME in the title of your submission for example (John_Smith.JPG)
4. Include an image of your Light Painting Bottle Tool with your name (John_Smith_Bottle.JPG)
Follow all the instructions above and then email your single best entry in to (contest [at] lightpaintingphotography.com) before April 21st, 2021 for a chance to win a featured post on the LPP website and a light painting prize pack from our super awesome sponsors listed below! If you do not follow the submission guidelines your image will not be included. As always no photoshop, yes you can develop or crop your image but no layers, cloning, mirroring, deleted or added pixels or any of that jazz.
